Japan and Netherlands Issue Stamps Featuring Stunning Night-time Views

On November 27th, Japan introduced stamps featuring beautiful night-time views of its cities and towns. The set consisted of 10 se-tenant ¥80 stamps in a pane with a large illustration of the harbour city, Hakodate when viewed from the Hakodate Mountain placed on top of the pane.Netherlands also issued a set of 10 se-tenant stamps showing the country’s cities at night as seen from space. These stamps have no denomination and were issued on October 12th. 171,000 panes of 10 stamps have been printed for sale.
